    Friendly Visitor Program

The Friendly Visitor Volunteer Team meets monthly at the Beechwood Meeting House. Please reach out for more information.

Are you in need of support? Friendly Visitor Volunteers are CORI-checked, supervised, and available to connect weekly or as needed. Volunteers can provide company and conversation, support to caregivers, a helping hand with a task or project. Have a need and not sure how to meet it? Reach out and let’s talk.

Are you looking for a meaningful volunteer experience? M+ welcomes anyone who wants to share their time, interests, or simply their presence. M+ connects volunteers to people in need and we support our volunteers in helpful and creative ways. We are neighbors helping neighbors, and we help take care of others while taking good care of ourselves.

  • Cohasset Living History Project

For Cohasset residents! We’re excited to offer this program in partnership with the Cohasset Historical Society.

In 1776, the Declaration of Independence affirmed rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As we celebrate America’s 250 anniversary, we invite Cohasset residents to reflect on what those words mean today.

What does your search for happiness look like? How have you navigated the challenges that come your way? What gives you hope and meaning? What is life like in 2026, right here in Cohasset?

Everyone has stories worth sharing. Engage in a relaxed, recorded conversation at the historic Beechwood Meeting House. Come sit with a volunteer trained in the art of oral history, at a date and time that works best for you.

A digital copy of the recording will be provided to the storyteller. This unique heirloom can be shared as the storyteller wishes, including with the Cohasset Historical Society.
