Our Workshops & Retreats are open to all. Registration is required. We offer these programs on a fee-for-participation basis. No one is ever turned away due to inability to pay.

Death Matters: Advanced Care and End-of Life Planning
a Six-Week Workshop from Sunday October 18 to November 22, 12:00-2:00 | Beechwood Meeting House, Cohasset
Each session will cover an essential aspect of care planning — and will help participants prepare to talk with loved ones about these important realities.
Topics include:
Advanced Directives and Health Care Proxies
Expenses: EOL at home, at Assisted Living, at Nursing Facilities
Family & Caregivers: Roles and Responsibilites
The Dying Process: Last Months, Weeks, Days, and what to expect
Working (or not) with a Funeral Home; Cremation vs. burial; memorial services and funerals
Grief & Self-Care
Facilitators: Danielle Burke, BSN, RN, CHPN, EOLD of Evermind Doula, LLC; and Jonathan Pierce, M.Div, M+ Executive Director
Cost: $200 per person / $150 M+ Members / $250 Benefactor*
*Benefactor giving (choosing to give more) helps M+ include everyone regardless of ability to pay
